Setup
Self installing BigPond® Mobile Broadband is easy. Just plug in the USB key for your mobile broadband USB or turn on your Wi-Fi device and you'll be ready to go in no time.
Your BigPond® Mobile Broadband kit includes:
- A Mobile Broadband USB or Wi-Fi device
- BigPond Mobile Broadband connection manager
- The BigPond Mobile Broadband User guide or Quick Start guide
- For Ultimate Wi-Fi users: AC charger with USB port, Micro USB charging cable and battery
Installing a Wi-Fi device
Self installing your BigPond® Mobile Wi-Fi 4G or BigPond® Ultimate Wi-Fi device is easy. To get up and running, simply follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide included with your device. Remember for initial activation you will need a laptop or Desktop with Windows 7® (32/64-bit), Windows Vista® (SP2, 32/64-bit), XP (SP3, Media Centre Editions, 32/64-bit) or Mac OS X 10.5.8 and above.
Is professional installation an option?
Professional installation is not available for BigPond Mobile Broadband because it's just so easy to set-up. Our plug and play devices will take care of you every step of the way - all you need to do is connect the Wi-Fi Device or USB to your computer.
That doesn't mean you're on your own though. If you run into trouble please call BigPond Technical Support.
