Setting up International Roaming
Simply activate International Roaming 24 hours before you intend to access the internet while overseas. If you're already overseas, that's fine too - just contact us on +61 2 9242 1238 (international call rates will apply).
If you activated your service on or after 21 June 2010, International Roaming will automatically be activated on your service. You can deactivate international roaming by contacting us on 13POND (from within Australia 13 7663) or +61 2 9242 1238 from outside Australia (international calling rates apply).
International Roaming costs are not included as part of your monthly access fee. International roaming costs $15 per MB, plus a $0.50 connection fee (GST does not apply), and these charges also apply when accessing BigPond sites that are ordinarily unmetered.
Where you can use International Roaming
We're working hard to make international roaming available in as many places as possible, and right now BigPond® Mobile Broadband Members can enjoy broadband speeds in over 60 countries, click here and refer to the 3G Roaming tab for full details of the countries offering broadband speeds. International Roaming relies on third party networks beyond our control, which means the service may be withdrawn from a country at any time without notice.
