BigPond USB 4G/BigPond Mobile Wi-Fi 4G offers typical download speeds in all capital CBDs (meaning within 5km of GPO), associated airports and selected regional areas (within 3km of town centre) from 2Mbps to 40Mbps and typical upload speeds between 1Mbps and 10 Mbps. In other areas, speed ranges will be less.
BigPond Wi-Fi devices - typical download speeds in capital cities CBD's, much of the associated metropolitan areas and selected regional areas are from 1.1Mbps to 20Mbps and in other areas speed ranges will be less.
Mobile Broadband Speeds vary due to factors such as location, distance from the base station, local terrain, user numbers, hardware and software configuration and download source/user destination. For the Wi-Fi device: if multiple users access the device, the typical speed range per user will be reduced.
BigPond Mobile Broadband Pricing:
- Multiple Product Benefit - you must have a Telstra full service fixed phone and an additional eligible service on a Single Bill, with a combined monthly access fee of at least $89. Additional eligible services are post-paid mobile plans, BigPond ADSL/Cable broadband plans and FOXTEL from Telstra.
- Member Benefit - you must have a Telstra full service fixed phone on a Single Bill with your Mobile Broadband service, with a combined monthly access fee of at least $59. If you cancel any of your qualifying services or your Single Bill, the standard monthly access fee for your broadband service will apply for the rest of your plan term. Eligible services only count towards one discount.
Data usage allowance means monthly combined upload and download data transfer. Charges apply for excluded usage such as content charges (including third party charges) and use while overseas. Unused data allowance expires monthly.
