distance from base station, local terrain, user numbers, hardware and software and download source/upload destination.

BigPond Mobile Broadband Member Benefit
You must have a Telstra full service fixed phone on a Single Bill with your Mobile Broadband service, with a combined monthly access fee of at least $59.

BigPond Mobile Broadband Multiple Product Benefit
You must be eligible for the $10 BigPond Mobile Broadband Member Benefit plus have an eligible additional service on your Single Bill, with a combined monthly access fee for all services of at least $89. Eligible additional services are a BigPond ADSL/Cable Broadband service, a FOXTEL from Telstra service or a Telstra post-paid mobile.

Minimum package cost for BigPond Liberty 1GB plan is $1,965.60, for BigPond Liberty 4GB plan is $2,205.60, for BigPond Liberty 8GB plan is $2,445.60 and for BigPond Liberty 15GB plan is $3,405.60, based on BigPond Liberty plan with HomeLine&reg Plus, BigPond USB 4G and $30 post-paid mobile plan. A $9.95 delivery fee applies.


Mobile broadband devices

You can select any of the devices below to connect to a BigPond Mobile Broadband service. Once you have selected your device, you will be unable to change or switch between device types. This does not prevent USB customers upgrading to a faster USB and similarly for Network Gateway customers.

Customers who select a new 24 month plan will receive a device rebate of up to $299 depending on which device you select.

Things you need to know

Next G® network coverage depends on your location, device and whether it has an external antenna attached.

BigPond USB 4G offers typical download speeds in all capital CBDs associated airports selected regional areas are from 2Mbps to 40Mbps and in other areas speed ranges will be less. Capital CBDs mean within 5 kms of the GPO of a capital city and within 3km of the town centre in regional locations.

BigPond Wi-Fi device - typical download speeds in capital cities and many metropolitan and regional areas are from 1.1Mbps to 20Mbps and in other areas speed ranges will be less. If multiple users access the device, the typical speed range per user will be reduced.

Mobile Broadband Speeds vary due to factors such as distance from the base station, local terrain, user numbers, hardware and software configuration and download source/user destination.

Member Benefit and Multiple Product Benefit - if you cancel any of your qualifying services or Single Bill, the standard monthly access fee for your broadband service will apply for the rest of your plan term. Eligible services only count towards one discount.

Mobile Broadband Device - only one rebate per customer and is available to new customers and existing customers with less than 3 months remaining on their term.

Data usage allowance means monthly combined upload and download data transfer. Charges apply for excluded usage such as content charges (including third party charges) and use while overseas. Unused data allowance expires monthly.
