Access from your browser or email client

A couple of points to remember. If you connected, updated or added mailboxes after 10 February 2012, you'll need to get started using a browser. If you want to use your email client (eg Outlook#), make sure you use the correct settings.

Ideal for your smartphone

Remember, if you've already been using BigPond Email with your smartphone - you'll need to update your settings. Find out about updating Windows# Phone, iPhone*, Android^, Nokia, BlackBerry+ or other phones. Also, please remember that - when you're prompted for a Windows Live/Hotmail ID - be sure to enter your BigPond/Telstra Username and password.

Things you need to know

As always, sending and receiving emails uses a portion of your monthly data allowance.

You won't be able to view or synchronise your T-Hub® v1 contacts and calendars with your BigPond Email with (or vice versa). Your contacts and calendar will continue to be backed up on the Telstra network. You will still be able to send and receive emails on T-Hub v1, however you won't be able to synchronise your contacts and calendar to your

If you have a T-Hub v2, you'll be able to view and synchronise correctly with the new email system. The T-Hub v2 will automatically adjust the email settings after migration has completed.
